Diane Warren

Diane Warren is one of modern music’s most celebrated songwriters. She has penned 9 number one and 32 top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, is tied for having written the most number one songs as a sole writer in Billboard history and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001. She is the first songwriter to receive an Honorary Oscar, has received 14 Academy Award nominations, is a Grammy winner with 15 nominations, an Emmy winner, and a two-time Golden Globe award winner whose songs have been featured in more than 100 motion pictures. She is also the sole owner of her publishing company Realsongs, the most successful female-owned and operated business in the music industry.

She is the recipient of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In summer 2021, Warren released her debut album Diane Warren: The Cave Sessions Vol. 1 (Di-Namic/BMG), which includes featured guest performances from artists such as Jon Batiste, Carlos Santana, Rita Ora, Maren Morris, John Legend, and Jimmie Allen to name a few. She wrote the original song “Applause” performed by Sofia Carson for the feature film Tell It Like a Woman (2022) for which Warren was nominated for an Oscar.

Jacqueline Stewart

Jacqueline Stewart is the Director and President of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles. She is Professor of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago, where she founded the South Side Home Movie Project. She is the author of Migrating to the Movies: Cinema and Black Urban Modernity, and co-editor of L.A. Rebellion: Creating a New Black Cinema and William Greaves: Filmmaking as Mission. Stewart is Chair of the National Film Preservation Board, host of “Silent Sunday Nights” on Turner Classic Movies, and a 2021 recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship.
