Despite the extensive renovations and improvements that have taken place at the Center for Media and Design Campus (a budget of over $62+ million), there is currently no ramp in Building C to provide access for students with disabilities to the lower level floor.

To address this issue, we are proposing the construction of a ramp in Building C at the CMD. This ramp would provide students with disabilities the equal opportunity to access all areas of the building, ensuring that they can fully engage in their educational pursuits and participate in the vibrant community at the CMD. Additionally, we strongly recommend the examination of additional, more accessible exits in Building B, further enhancing the overall accessibility of the CMD campus.

The Film Club of Santa Monica College is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and transparency amongst the student population.
