The riveting new thriller from two-time Academy Award-nominee Hany Abu-Assad is a timely political drama based on real events about two women who find themselves in a dangerous and complex web of betrayal. HUDA’S SALON follows Nadia, a young mother married to a jealous man, who goes to Huda’s salon in Bethlehem. But this ordinary visit turns sour when Huda, after having put Nadia in a shameful situation, blackmails her to have her work for the secret service of the occupiers, and thus betray her people.

VACCINATED-ONLY

As of November 2, 2021 all American Cinematheque screenings and live events are Vaccinated-Only:

  • Attendees (ages 18+) need to present both proof of vaccination and a valid ID at the theatre to be admitted into the event. (Last vaccination must be recorded as 2 weeks prior to the event). Physical vaccine cards or digital proof of vaccination are acceptable.

  • Reasonable accommodations will be provided to those needing it for religious or medical reasons with proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test, taken within 72 hours of the screening. Additionally, they will need to sign and present a Vaccine Declination Form. For those requiring Medical accommodations, they will need to present both the Vaccine Declination Form as well as a written statement signed by a physician, nurse practitioner, or other licensed medical professional practicing under the license of a physician, stating that they qualify for the exemption.
