ABOUT THE FILM:

Cholas, Sad Girl and Mousie, are childhood best friends from Echo Park navigating friendship, romantic entanglements, motherbood, and gang life. After a bitter betrayal between the women, their dispute escalates towards violence as the violence of the world around them soon impacts their lives as well. Written and directed by Allison Anders, MI VIDA LOCA features the first film appearances of Salma Hayek, Spike Jonze, and Jason Lee in small roles.
