Navigating Your First Major Film Festival: Sundance Creator Meetup Online

Event Registration: https://collab.sundance.org/catalog/Creator-Meetup-Navigating-Your-First-Major-Film-Festival

In this discussion, filmmakers from this year's Sundance Film Festival, Producer Kara Durrett (Honk for Jesus, Save Your Soul) and Director Chase Joynt (Framing Agnes), share advice on how to prepare for and make the most out of your first major film festival experience.

As a special festival promotion, the post-event community conversation for this event will be open to all attendees. To join for future conversations, become a Sundance Collab Creator+ or Course Pass member. Start your free trial now.

Creator Meetups feature candid discussions with artists and media professionals around timely and critical issues in the film and television industry such as on-set safety and BIPOC representation, followed by breakout groups where Collab community members can meet and continue the conversation.

This online event will be recorded and available in the Sundance Collab video library for all members after the live event. (Post-event breakout rooms are not recorded). Please allow up to 24 hours after the live event for the recording to be posted.

If you have a disability and require accommodation in order to fully participate in this event, please complete this form, contact Sundance Collab at (435) 776-7790 or email them at accessibility@sundance.org to discuss your specific needs. Every effort will be made to accommodate advance requests; requests made within 5 days of the event may not be guaranteed.
